Yesterday I was asking Kathy how she stored her ribbon and she suggested an idea I have seen before which was to wrap the ribbon around clothes pins and tossing them in a large fish bowl. I knew I had the perfect bowl so off I went in search of my clothes pins when I came across these fasteners I had left over from the days my husband and I had a business. A light bulb went off in my head that these would be PERFECT and the ribbon would stay put. This may not look as pretty as ribbon wound around clothes pins but they take up less bulk and can even be sorted by color in mason jars easily for a impressive display. I couldn't remember the source of mine so I searched online this morning and came up with this site for those interested. They had the best prices. The self adhesive strip makes it nice because they do not slip as you are winding the ribbon on to them

Thank you!!!! I just bought a box of 100 of these and used one for a project I found online. I figured this would be another thing that I stashed in a drawer until I finally threw the other 99 away. I had also seen the idea with clothespins but wondered how the ribbon would stay, so thanks again for a great idea!
