Blast Off!
Good Day, It has been ages since I have updated my blog so I thought I would "Blast Off" my return with this rocket album I recently made for a friend. I found this chip board ROCKET album from October Afternoon and knew it would be perfect to pair with my newly acquired There She Goes "Out of This World" stamp set. I really enjoyed going outside my comfort zone to create this. What was really nice, the chipboard rocket comes prepackaged with die cutout paper making it a breeze. You can pretty well figure out how I made it by the pictures. The only not I would add is the giant eyeball page is actually an open pocket for storing more photos. Hopefully, it will be cherished for years to come.
Supplies Used (grab a pencil with lots of lead) , I cleared out several drawers :)
Chip Board Rocket & Rocket Age Tablet - October Afternoon
Stamps from MFT- saying from Astronaut Girl, Amuse (ticket Stamp), There She Goes (Out Of This World)
MFT Die-namics (star)
Copic Markers
Black Ink
Pop Dots
American Craft Thickers
DCWV Animal Crackers (chip board shapes)
Karen Foster Rub-on (Night Owl)
It Takes 2 - Brother Poem (sticker)
Large Eye
I have been busy making samples for Lasting Impressions many can be found on their blog. If you have not checked their blog lately you are missing lots of inspiration. I shall return soon as I have so many many projects to share I just truthfully have been slacking off. I'm hoping this blast off will blast me back into gear here.

Be Still ...She is Alive

Some of you may have thought I fell off the face of the earth. I have totally neglected my blog for too long. With spring in the air I thought I would spring into action and post a very easy "SPRINGY" project.
This project was super easy to create and practically cost nothing to create. I purchased the "Design A Mugs" on a closeout for .25 cents. I embossed some ovals (M-8) out of Lasting Impressions card stock . To make it looked chalked I embossed the words onto smaller black ovals and used a scuffer on them. Cut and embossed flowers and veggies to match. Inserted matching papers into the cup. To complete I added enough starter soil and of course included seeds and matching little notecard.
All paper, notecards and templates were from Lasting Impressions.
Enjoy and may your day bloom with happiness.
In case you have not checked out Lasting Impressions lately many more of my projects can be found on their new blog.

My Millon Hour Castle Card!

Good Morning, Yes, you read the title correctly, it took me FOREVER:). I rarely do shaped cards and this may have done me in!!! I needed a Birthday card for my little niece I found this castle template on Deneen's blog. After fighting with my printer to print it out correctly I finally had something that with some tweaking worked. Then being the dummy I am, I used single sided paper so off to drawing board to figure out what I had that I could use that was double sided stock. I remembered this paper I had purchased for another project. Finally I found paper that was perfect for a princess! It is from Prima, their "Paisley Road Collection". The cute little princess stamp set is from MFT "Pure Innocence" (Birthday Princess). I colored it using my Copic Markers.
So there you have it a card that ended up costing more then the gift and the gift was a motorized bike, pretty sad! :) It was one of those cards that kept evolving and adding more and more. I am sure all of us have made at least one of those. This is MINE!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Happy 18th

Hello Happy Friday the sun is finally and I do mean finally shining in Ohio. Today I thought I would share this fun, colorful and vibrant card I made for a special little gal who just turned 18. I swiped the paper from Kathy while I was visiting over Easter. The paper is embossed and adds so much to making this card adorable.
The stamp is from MFT. I paper pieced her outfit and colored the remaining using Copics.
I am headed out to experience what it's like to see that bright yellow blob in the sky:)
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.
