I started to make this card intending to insert a dry embossed boat into the center or the scalloped circle but then discovered I had no template that would work. I then decided to use up an applique of this cute little bear that I got a super deal at a garage sale last summer. Someone was selling ziplock bags filled with different patterns for .25 to .50 cents a bag and of course me, not being able to pass up a bargain snatched up all the different patterns she had. The only stamping on the card is the "New Baby" by Obession Impressions and the bottom panel of the card. I liked the look of my spring card so much I did the same with this one. I used midnight blue and Azurite by Colorbox Ink on to a pale blue linen.
