Nephew's Graduation Card

I thought I would share another card I made this weekend for my nephew who will be graduating in June. I seem to wait until the last minute to create cards I need for family so I decided to get a head start on it for a change. I of course, couldn't resist I had to use my Kim Hughes "UR A Hoot" set from CHF. You can pretty well guess how I created the card from looking at it. I did use Lasting Impressions papers and my Copic markers. Some might spot it but I will confess to my screw up. The brown ink smeared on the lined paper so I just crinkled and aged it to make it less noticeable. Makes it look more like an imperfection, No? I made the tassel by using embroidery floss and coloring it with markers then wrapping a thin wire around top. It is made to match his school colors which are Gold and Black. I stamped the
"2008" on shrink paper and heated it with my embossing gun. I was going to nail it to the tree but it didn't look quite right so I stuck it on the side.

Thanks for stopping by
