Spring has finally sprung, the high heats are starting to bring out my blooms. It was such a beautiful day yesterday here, I was out cleaning up winters left over remnants when I saw all my patches of daffodils popping through. I was inspired to make a bright and airy daffodil card but as you can see it came out totally the oppisite! My sewing machine had other plans for me the thread keeps breaking. I tried adjusting tension, re-setting the bobbin, changing the thread and anything elses I could think of. Before it was over my brightly colored paper I selected was in the garbage! I then decided to just sew it without thread. I used two of the CHF backgrounders on this project. The linen and paisley. I also got to play with another new Cuttlebug folder using the paisley on the brown behind the image. I colored the image with Copic markers. To stamp wording on the rough paper I sanded it slightly, brushed it off and stamped it.

Cute card, Nettie! Sometimes the cards that don't turn out the way we thought they would are the best!
Cute as a button!
