Graduation Party Treats

I just got home from my nephew's graduation. Time sure flies,it only seems like yesterday that he was running around in silly hats. Do all boys do that? His school mascot is pirates and their colors are gold and black. I started stamping these images some time ago and feeling cruddy lately decided to scrap out on completing them. At the last minute today, not wanting them to go to waste I decided to whip up some delicious chocolate chip cookies and finish them. I really was in a time crunch and didn't think I would get them done but I surprised myself. I started at 11:30 and left house at 1:00! I thought for sure I would be putting them together as I drove down the street but did manage to finish before I left the house that included, making the cookies, burning the edges on tags and wrapping everything up. Then, I was kicking myself for not running to the party store last night for a treasure chest I planned on displaying them in but when I got there sis had an extra chest so everything worked out wonderfully. They went very quickly and everyone loved the idea.

I actually spotted a similar packaging on someone else's blog and would be happy to give credit to them if I could remember who it was. If it was you please email me!

I stamped fronts using black ink and colored them in using Prisma watercolor markers.
I stamped backs first with a treasure map then graduate stamp. To finish tags off I burned edges over a candle for an aged look. After placing cookies into bag I punched hole and added twine to close.
Sorry pictures are not better. I literally took them as I was walking out the door.
