Holiday Cards

Just as I finished up my Holiday cards that I had been stressing about since I have been in a creative slump I created these beauties.  Both of them were simple to create and went together quickly with little stamping.  The first one I embossed the card front with a holly die then die cut "Holiday" out using silver glitter paper.  The image used  for the "O" is from Stampin Up. I then completed it with matching ribbon.

The Season Greetings card is a CASE card I saw on Pinterest.  I loved the cutout style!  Using Versamark and gold embossing powder from CTMH I stamped wording onto white card stock which I layered on to red linen card stock. The pattern paper is from LYB.  I purchased a ton of it on close out last year and have been trying to put it to use since.  Looks like I finally found the perfect use for it:). The flower stamp was colored using Copics. The swirl behind the flower is from Spellbinders which was cut from gold stock.

I now am ready for next year Bring it on I will not be stumped for ideas :)

Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

New Love

I can not believe I still have followers after my lengthy absence.  I have been creating super cards lately but have been  lax in sharing.   I will try in coming weeks to continue to update.  Today's post is all about my quest to come up with a holiday card I purchased some adorable stamps and dies from  Lawn Fawn recently and came up with a quick holiday card using their winter sparrows set and die.  This is the first time I have used this company's stamps and dies.  If you have not bought from them you must try.  Easy to stamp and super cute. I also, bought the Christmas Owl set thinking I would make a holiday card with it but instead I opted for a card suitable for Valentine's Day instead.  How fun it was to play with my new goodies.
