For my regular followers it is with a sad heart I tell you I will not be posting for a bit. What was to be a fun filled evening to celebrate my mother's 70 th birthday turned into a much more somber evening. I arrived home from work to find my husband dead. Autopsy results will be in Monday but all indications point to a aorta aneurysm.

- Rubber stamper, paper crafter, card maker, and a mom to a very talented stamper. Nettie is a nickname given to me many years ago for the hours I spend on the net. I recently lost my hubby after 29 years of marriage. I reside in a suburb of Cleveland Ohio called Solon. I spend my days working as a manager of a local concrete company supervising 10 guys, can you say stress, my outlet is my art.

I never know the perfect words to say at times like this, when bad things happen to good people, but I wanted you to know people are thinking of you and keeping you in their prayers.
I am so sorry to hear of your loss. My husband is in the military and try to live every day we have together to the fullest (which usually means less stamping) because... you just never know...

I wanted to add my condolences. I know how hard this must be. We lost my father very unexpectedly about a year ago. He had just turned 60. I think about him all the time. And I think if I was blogging then, the support and shoulders I would have gotten would have been an amazing help to get through some really tough times.
