My Millon Hour Castle Card!
Good Morning, Yes, you read the title correctly, it took me FOREVER:). I rarely do shaped cards and this may have done me in!!! I needed a Birthday card for my little niece I found this castle template on Deneen's blog. After fighting with my printer to print it out correctly I finally had something that with some tweaking worked. Then being the dummy I am, I used single sided paper so off to drawing board to figure out what I had that I could use that was double sided stock. I remembered this paper I had purchased for another project. Finally I found paper that was perfect for a princess! It is from Prima, their "Paisley Road Collection". The cute little princess stamp set is from MFT "Pure Innocence" (Birthday Princess). I colored it using my Copic Markers.
So there you have it a card that ended up costing more then the gift and the gift was a motorized bike, pretty sad! :) It was one of those cards that kept evolving and adding more and more. I am sure all of us have made at least one of those. This is MINE!
Have a great day and thanks for stopping by.

Exciting Announcement and Card Share
Good Morning, most of my followers know I have a fondness for dry embossing and love to incorporate into my card making. I love the added dimension it gives to a card. I am thrilled to announce that I have been asked to join Lasting Impressions Design Team. They are currently in the process of revamping their entire site with promises of new templates and papers coming very shortly. The company now has a blog or if you prefer you can join them on Face Book. To introduce you to their NEW site leave a comment on their blog or Face Book page for a chance to win a $20.00 Gift Certificate. Hurry contest ends Tuesday June 28, 2011.
I almost forgot to mention another sweet option of their new website allows fellow lovers of their templates to add your creations to their gallery. They have put together a website that is more user interactive.
Today I thought I would share a sweet summery 4th of July card I created using one of my favorite Lasting Impression templates. I like this template because it can be jazzed up and used for so many different occasions.

Happy 18th
Hello Happy Friday the sun is finally and I do mean finally shining in Ohio. Today I thought I would share this fun, colorful and vibrant card I made for a special little gal who just turned 18. I swiped the paper from Kathy while I was visiting over Easter. The paper is embossed and adds so much to making this card adorable.
The stamp is from MFT. I paper pieced her outfit and colored the remaining using Copics.
I am headed out to experience what it's like to see that bright yellow blob in the sky:)
Have a wonderful day and thanks for stopping by.

Rainy day feel better
Good Morning, I figured I had better see if my account was still active!! For those still hanging in there I have been creating just not sharing much. Last fall I started to rebuild a patio due to rotted wood. I ended up taking it down to the studs and then replacing them. The weather prevented me from completing it and I am happy to say I just painted it YEAH!! .... I still have to put the floor down and do trim around windows after I complete it, I'll have to share some pictures.
I'm not sure how your weather has been but it has rained for weeks around here so today's share is a "rainy day" feel better card I created using a MFT stamp set. Clouds are also dies from MFT. Pattern paper is from American Crafts and called City Parks. The image was colored with copics.
Hoping some sun comes out so the grass can dry up enough to be cut.
Enjoy your day

Oh Yes/No Another Blue Valentine
Hi Everyone, I promise this will be my last blue polka dot Valentine I share with you. This super simple card is just squares I cut to 1 1/4 squares, offset them a tad and stitched them. A simple sentiment was stamped on bottom to finish it off. I decided to add a button to lessen it's plainness. The heart template and paper are both from Lasting Impressions.
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your Sunday.

Nice Lazy Day Card
Hi, Just wanted to share a quick card I made. It is perfect for the day as Kathy relaxes from her surgery. She said it was the easiest surgery ever! How nice, I mean if you have to have surgery to begin with, we all hope it will go well.
I have been playing with a lot of polka dot paper lately. I just seem to keep picking it up every time I go to make a card. I also, have started playing with my growing collection of MFT's "Pure Innocence" stamps. Aside from them being adorable, I think the reason I like them so much is they lend themselves to paper piecing so easily. For this card I used "Bedtime Story". The paper is from Daisy Bucket's and called "In the Meadow". I colored it using Copic markers and added some brown and white polka dot ribbon to complete it.
Relax and enjoy your day, thanks for stopping by.

Valentine Box
Good Morning today my share is a cute little Valentine's box I made. I covered a saved heart shaped box with some "Guava Dot" Lasting Impressions paper then sanded the edges. I added a band of paper from We R Memory Keepers "White Out" collection to the top. I cut out a giant heart from chipboard , covered it with same paper. After stamping this cutie from MFT and
coloring it to match I added some lace that I picked up at a garage sale for a nostalgic look to finish it off. All that is missing is some homemade yummies to fill it:)
Thanks for stopping by, enjoy your day!

Bee Happy Sunday
Good Morning, happy Sunday! You can see I am getting a bit better on getting back to blogging. Today's card is one I made for a recent card swap which had a required theme of starting with the letter "B". This one worked out perfectly. I finally got to play with a template I have had for sometime but never used. The paper and templates are from Lasting Impressions (L1024 & S846). For the honeycomb panel I used a Fiskers embossing plate. The saying which worked out perfectly is an old discontinued stamp by "My Sentiments Exactly" . It is mounted to one of my favorite Spellbinders die the lacey square. The ribbon is from Michaels and button is from my stash.
Bee happy and thanks for stopping by. Enjoy your day.

Happy Heart Day
Today I started off to make a Birthday card for my SIL and instead ended up making this quick card.
I have been playing around with some new paper that I fell in love with. This paper is from Lasting Impressions and called Smooth Sailing. I just love the softness of it and have made several cards already from it. The paper is not new but it is the first time I have had any to play with. I paired it up with some scraps of matching blue card stock by DCWV. I finished the card off using L9456 template and a rub-on both by Lasting Impressions. Cute and QUICK!
I hope I have inspired you today.

It's Time
Hello, yes it is TIME to update my blog. It seems time just slips away from me. I have so much to share but have honestly been totally frustrated with my camera. I think it may be TIME for a new one. I have tried every setting possible and still seem to get blurry pictures:(.
Today's share is a clock I altered for my new craft room. I bought a bunch of clocks at a discount house before Christmas. My plan was to make them as gifts but that never happened... TIME just slipped away. Since I have them sitting on my craft table they will be done in TIME for next year!
Hopefully, I can get my camera to corporate with me so I can share more tomorrow.
Thanks for stopping in and if you are in one of the 30 plus states affected by this nasty storm be safe.
